A Contemporary Poolside Garden
Set within the surrounds of Mount Eliza, Edgar Place is a sculptural and contemporary garden designed to complement the home's modern architecture while thriving in the peninsula’s climate. With a bold, drought-tolerant palette featuring aloes, agaves, and cacti, the garden offers year-round structure, texture, and interest.
At its centre, a refined poolside zone anchors the design—an inviting outdoor space for entertaining and relaxation. Mass planting creates a sense of rhythm and simplicity, while a restrained colour palette and layered textures reflect Colin’s signature approach: clean lines, bold form, and a strong connection to place.
Designed with both lifestyle and longevity in mind, Edgar Place demonstrates how thoughtful planting and strong spatial planning can transform a garden into a living, sculptural extension of the home.
