A Hollywood - Inspired Coastal Garden

This coastal garden draws on the bold, sculptural landscapes of the Hollywood Hills, reimagined for the Mornington Peninsula. Indigenous plants, aloes, golden barrel cacti, and architectural agaves form the backbone of a drought-tolerant planting scheme that thrives in the local climate. 

Curved lawns and gravel garden beds weave through clusters of succulents and desert-inspired flora, softening the geometry and enhancing the mid-century modern aesthetic.

Framing the crisp lines of the contemporary home, the garden is both dramatic and refined—low-maintenance yet visually rich. The Hills reflects Colin’s signature approach to landscape design: a fusion of structure and movement, art and ecology, tailored to elevate both architecture and lifestyle.
